Advancing sustainable food systems, restoring ecosystems, supporting humanitarian action, and growing inclusive agribusiness across Uganda and East Africa.
To be a leader in advancing climate-resilient food systems, sustainable ecosystems, humanitarian assistance, and inclusive agribusiness across Uganda, East Africa, and beyond.
To enhance sustainable food systems, restore fragile ecosystems, support life-saving humanitarian assistance, and grow inclusive agribusiness through innovation, incubation, and social protection.
Innovation, integrity, sustainability, inclusivity, and resilience guide FSERA’s work with communities, partners, institutions, and market actors.
FSERA is a Ugandan organization established in 2016 and formally registered in 2026. It applies a holistic approach that connects humanitarian response, adaptive social protection, livestock and food systems transformation, agribusiness incubation, environmental sustainability, and inclusive economic development.
FSERA delivers its mandate through mutually reinforcing pillars: rangeland management, food systems and value chains, humanitarian response, research and knowledge transfer, blended finance, and farmer investment support.
FSERA works through a collaborative network of government institutions, UN and humanitarian agencies, agribusiness incubators, farmer organizations, cooperatives, innovation hubs, universities, community organizations, and private sector actors.
Join us in advancing food systems, restoring ecosystems, strengthening livelihoods, and supporting inclusive agribusiness pathways across Uganda and East Africa.
